Weather for Saturday looks sunny with a light northerly wind so all 3 routes head north this week.
All routes head to Bruton via Bourton, the Whites then head to Cranmore and on to Mells. After Bruton, the Blue and Pink routes head to Evercreech and on to Doulting and Holcombe. The Blue route then heads to Mells where they might meet the Whites at the coffee stop.
The Pink route continues past Holcombe and on to Norton St Phillip and they then head south back to Gillingham via Frome, Longleat and Maiden Bradley.
After Mells the Blues and Whites head back to Gillingham via Nunney, Gare Hill, Zeals and Bourton
For both the White and Blue groups there is the Walled Garden cafe or the Village Shop cafe at Mells.
The Pinks could stop at Pronto bikes in Frome for coffee if they want, or later at the Bradley Pantry in Maiden Bradley
Its a 9.00 am start, meet at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
