Kim Little was the winner of the fourth and final round of the Wheelers’ winter mountain bike series, winning the overall championship in the process.   The only other rider in contention for the series title was Nigel Brown, and Nigel pushed Kim hard throughout.  Nigel set a really fast early pace to lead the opening laps.  Kim eventually made his way past and then pulled away to win by just under a minute at the end of the hour-long race.
In third place throughout was Andy Parsons, followed home by Vince Hounsome and Dom McLoughlin.  Junior rider Josh Day held fourth for most of the race, but finished sixth after first being passed by Vince on lap 5 and then just outsprinted to the line by Dom.  Second-placed Junior rider went to Tom Brown in 7th, with the top 10 completed by Julian Calloway, Youth rider Lawrence Pitman and Simon Barfoot.
The Juniors’ series title went Ollie Feltham, who had to run virtually the whole of the last lap of this race after puncturing, while Lawrence Pitman was Youth champion ahead of Matt Davis.
