After a showery day, it at least stayed dry for this week’s Time Trial and the wind wasn’t gale force for once. It was however a chilly evening for June. 14 riders signed on for one lap of the Stour Provost course.
Sam Thompson (22:15) took the spoils this week ahead of Hector Rigby (23:27) and Michael Sleeman (24:38, road bike). Gary Francis (25:07) was fourth and Innes Wright (25:46) fifth.
Innes retakes the overall lead with Shawn not competing this week. Michael leads the road bike category.
Round 10 (17th June) is scheduled for the Gillingham 10 mile course. Sign on is at 6.30 pm (at tThe Bubl Shop, Mere Road, Gillingham SP8 4EU) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
