It’s nearly time for the Wheelers mountain bike series to start off again, beginning with a night race on October 1st and pre-race BBQ. Vince Hounsome has been sorting things out with the various factions which run Alfred’s Tower Woods and now has permission for the races will be held there again. Check out the calendar page for dates.
The races will need marshals, timekeepers and people to put out and gather signs so if you can help out with any of this then please let Vince know (vincent.hounsome@sky.com). The opening night race in particular will need quite a few marshals to make sure riders don’t go missing in the woods all night!

You will see that the first race is a night race.
For this, please have a good set of lights and a back up light,as getting lost in the woods with no light
would not be fun.
Also for this event it might be a good idea to get there in time to ride the course when it is still light.
If you have anyone who could help marshal ,would you please let me know.
All the other events are at the usual time.
