Both the Southern XC mountain bike and EDCA time trial series are finished for this season now, with both championships seeing several GDW members well placed in the final tables.

In the Southern XC, Paul Hopkins (Merida UK) moved up to the Elite races and finished 7th overall.  Emma Bradley (WXC) also moved up to Elite level this year, and finished 2nd in the Elite women’s standings.  Kim Little competed in the Masters races, getting 5th overall.  In the Vets, Andy Parsons was 8th and Nigel Brown 11th while in the Juniors Josh Day was 7th and Tom Brown 12th overall.  Lawrence Pitman, who raced in the GDW series last winter, came second in the Juvenile category.
Vince Hounsome put in regular top 10 finishes in the EDCA time trials to finish 6th overall at the end of the season and 4th overall in the Vets league.  James Chant also made the top 10 in the series, 8th overall adn 7th equal in the Vets.  Without a regular third rider, GDW slipped to fourth in the Teams prizes behind Poole Wheelers, Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers and CC Weymouth.
