The next GDW Time Trial of 2022 takes place on Wednesday (20th July), on the Bruton 19 mile course. Sign on is from 6.30 pm at the Old Mill Business Estate, Station Road, Bruton BA10 0EH, with the first rider starting at 7.00 pm. Given the length of the course, slower riders are asked to start ahead of the quickest riders.
*NOTE* – It is now a CTT regulation that all riders must have (and use) working front and rear lights and wear helmets – NO LIGHTS AND HELMET, NO START! Riders must also obey the Highway Code at all times.
Entry fees are: £4.00 for GDW members, £3.50 for GDW members aged 16 & under, £5.00 for non-members.
Entry fees must be paid by card or by phone – no cash! Once you have signed on you should leave the sign on area to undertake your warm up.
Remember that there is also a non-Aero category for road bikes, and to qualify for this you must comply with all the following, and indicate this on your entry:- no TT bars, no TT helmets, no overshoes, no skinsuits. This year the maximum wheel depth for the non-aero category has been increased to 50mm, in recognition of the fact that many modern bikes now come as standard with wheels in excess of 35mm which was the previous limit.
