Eight riders took to the start in Bruton this week on another warm and sunny evening.
Shawn Gray (44:57) maintained his excellent form to post the quickest time ahead of Hector Rigby (48:25) with Mike Sleeman (49:07, road bike) not far behind in third.
Shawn leads the overall championship with just 4 points separating second and fourth places (Vince, Gary and Innes) as all those riders have completed 11 events. Mike Sleeman leads the road bike category from Nigel Brown.
Next week is scheduled for the 10 mile Sturminster Newton course. Sign on is at 6.30 pm (at the Stour View Close Car Park, Sturminster Newton, just opposite the start) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
