The Winter Challenge ride on Salisbury Plain on the 3rd Jan saw a number of Gilingham Wheelers participate in the 50km event with 380 riders; Nigel Brown was 1st wheeler home in a time of 2:16.39, followed by Vince Hounsome in 2:27:24, Si Barfoot & Julian Chown finished together in 23:24.02.
