Our ever-present marshal Vic Hansford will be on holiday this week so if anyone would like to marshal or bring someone along with them tomorrow night who could then that would be very much appreciated.

The TLI weekly evening criteriums have finished now but they have got a couple of good events coming up, for which the entries are still open.  This Sunday (15th) is the Independance Day road race near Wool.  This is a 44 mile handicapped race based around the 10 mile Gallows Hill/Wool/Worgret tt course.  Entry forms and details are on TLI’s website, or you can enter on the day.  TLI also have their annual double-header tt event on August 28th based at the Malthouse Inn, Timsbury.  There is a 20k solo tt in the morning followed by a 2-up on the same course in the afternoon.  Again, the details and entry forms are on TLI’s website.
DB Max have another 10 mile tt at Castle Combe race circuit this Sunday, you can enter on the day for this if you fancy a traffic-free time trial on super-smooth tarmac.
The next rounds of the EDCA series are coming up soon, on Bank Holiday Monday there is a 15 mile tt and then the Poole Wheelers’ Open 25 mile tt is on September 5th.  Both events are based around the Hole’s Bay/Baker’s Arms roads near Poole.  Entries close on August 16th and 23rd for these, more details on the ‘Other Events’ calendar page.
