A bank holiday weekend with sunny weather? That means a trip to the coast! Plenty of options this weekend with the various routes. The Pink route has a long and short option, the long route following the Tour of the West Country route down to Lulworth and across to Corfe and onto Swanage before heading back via Wareham. The short version cuts out the Swanage loop saving about 20 kms. The group may split into those pacing themselves to ride 100 miles each day over the weekend and those wanting to go a little quicker.

The Blue route heads down to Lulworth Cove via Blandford and Bere Regis, and returns via Milborne St Andrew and Sturminster. Those wanting a shorter ride can cut across from Wool to Moreton, turning just before the railway.

The White route heads to Shearwater via Kilmington and back via the Deverills.

Given the longer nature of most of the routes, only the White route ends at the Old Brewery Cafe and Kitchen for coffee, cake, or brunch.

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.

There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
