Saturday looks set to be another hot and sunny day with the wind from the north east. Make sure to fill your bidons and slap on the suncream.
Everyone heads north to Stourhead initially and on towards Gare Hill. The White route wiggles its way through the Longleat estate to reach Warminster and then heads out to Heytesbury. They then drop back to Tytherington and Sutton Veny but could add in a detour to Gorgeous Dave’s favourite cafe, the Ginger Piggery. Their return is through the Deverills and Mere.
The Blue and Pink routes take more direct, but different roads to Crockerton and then head down the Wylye valley bfore turning south to Dinton. They return through Tisbury, Semley and Shaftesbury.
Its a 9.00 am start, meet at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
