This Saturday looks to be the last of the warm ones with the legs out, the weather looks dry with some sun and light south easterly winds. As such the 3 routes head SE through Semley, the pink and white routes then heads along the Chalke valley. The whites turn off to Bowerchalke and over to 6d Handley . The pink route carries on a bit further to Broadchalke then turns towards Fordingbridge, before heading west to Cranborne Garden Centre, Wimborne St Giles and 6d Handley. After Semley the blue route heads through Donhead St Mary and up through Rushmore Park to 6d Handley and Wimborne St Giles and to Cranborne Garden Centre for coffee with the pinks, heading back through the Gussages. From 6d Handley all three routes head back to Gillingham via Tollard Royal, zig zag hill and Shaftesbury.

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, inner tubes etc.

Pink Route: 59 miles, 3300 ft elevation – est speed 17 to 19 mph

Blue Route: 47 miles, 2800 ft m elevation – est speed 14.5 to 16 mph

White Route: 39 miles, 2600 ft elevation – est speed 12.5 tp 13.5 mph
