The Met Office forecast suggests it will be warm and sunny, but there is a chance of thundery showers on Saturday. The wind is also changing direction, but only slightly! So slap on the suntan and pack a light rain jacket for this week’s adventures!
The White route makes its way to Stourton Caundle, Kings Stag and Hazelbury Bryan before turning for home.
The Blue and Pink routes head up Motcombe Hollow and Zig Zag on their way to Cashmoor, the Gussages and Wimborne St Giles. The Pink route does an extra loop up to Damerham. The routes then head back through Rushmore Park (hopefully avoiding Innes’s wayway golf shots!) on the way to Shaftesbury.
The rides end at the Old Brewery Cafe and Kitchen for coffee, cake, or brunch.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.
There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
