Stop eating cakes!
The GDW hillclimbs and time trials start next Wednesday April 2nd, kicking off with a hillclimb at the usual venue of Mere Hollow. Meet at the town car park and sign in by 17.45, first rider off at 18.01. We’re using a shorter version of the course this season, the finish line will be at the large double gateway on the crest of the hill, not the Roman road crossroads as in previous years.
Entry to this year’s events is the same as in 2013, £2 for members in club kit, £3 for members in non-club kit and £4 for non-members.
As always, we will need volunteers to marshal and timekeep through the season, without these positions filled the events might not go ahead so please do your bit to help out one night (or more!).
