The upcoming tt on the 5th of August (to be held on the Wyke) course will be run under non-aero rules.  This basically means riders must compete on standard road bikes, mountain bikes or fixed-gear bikes without any aero equipment fitted to the machines or riders.  The challenge is to see how fast we are without all the following fancy gear –

No aero helmets or skinsuits
No aero front forks
No aerobars/tribars
No deep-section wheel rims (maximum depth of 3cms)
No tt frames
Bladed spokes will be allowed as long as the wheel has 16 or more spokes
