This weekend it looks like the big bright thing in the sky is going to shine brightly, but with an easterly wind and it only going to be about 12 degrees, who is going to be brave enough to get their legs out on Saturday?! This week all routes head easterly from Gill, along Bay Road thought to Semley, from where the White and Blues head to Tisbury and Dinton. The White route then returns back via Hindon and East Knowle. The Blue route heads over to the Wyle valley and joins the Pinkies who have routed along the Chalke Valley up and over to Wilton, though the Langfords on to Wylye before joining the Blue route back to Gillingham via Sutton Veny and the Deverills. There are optional coffee stops in either Wilton (Pink group) or at Ginnys cafe in Boyton (Pink and Blue)

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials.

Pink Route 55.4 miles, 2847 ft elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +

Blue Route: 43.7 miles, 2422 ft elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph

White Route: 38.1 miles, 2050 ft elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph

All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!

For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
