Saturday looks to be dry and there are three routes this week. The Pink Route heads to Dorchester via Cerne Abbas and Sydling St Nicholas, returning through the Piddle valley and Sturminster. The Blue Route cuts out the extra Dorchester loop, heading to Cerne Abbas and Charlton Down before cutting across to the Piddle valley and onto Sturminster. The White Route heads through Stourton and Bishops Caundles, across to Pulham and back the same way as the other routes via Sturminster.

As usual meet at the Wheels Car Park in Station Road, Gillingham at 9.00 am. All routes will end back at the cafe for coffee and cake. Please ensure you download the route to your GPS device (it only takes a couple of minutes), and don’t forget to bring your ride essentials, especially plenty to drink!

Pink Route – 97.5 kms, 1,122 m elevation Est speed 27+ kmh, 17+ mph

Blue Route – 82.5 kms, 801 m elevation Est speed 24 kmh, 15 mph

White Route – 59.6 kms, 590 m elevation Est speed 20 kmh, 12 mph

All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!

If you have ridden more than twice with us, we do expect you to become a member of the club.

For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
