Kim Little rode to another win at tonight’s tt on a very warm evening.  Behind Kim there was a bit of a points bonanza for the other riders as four of the usual front runners – Charles Rees, Adam Baker, James Foster and George Smith – joined forces as a practice for the forthcoming Ilton team time trial.  The quartet finished in 46.12.

Second overall went to VC Walcot rider David Janes and third to Alex Hookins with James Chant fourth.
Connor and James Geddes continued their season of taking it in turns to be quickest, this time Connor was ahead in sixth overall with both setting pb times.  James Howell was third junior, pleased to get round in under an hour.
Lynn Broom, Sarah Wheeler and Jane Pritchard started 1, 2, 3 respectively but came home in the opposite order, with Jane setting a fast time of 55.44.

BOURNEMOUTH JUBILEE WHEELERS OPEN

Six GDW riders got up early on Sunday for the 10 mile Open tt on the fast course along the Poole bypass.  It wasn’t the best of conditions but Charles Rees didn’t seem to notice, speeding along to a new 10 mile pb time of 21.00.  Charles was fourth overall, just sixteen seconds of the winner Jimmy Little (VC St Raphael).
Paul Cooke was taking part in his first Open event and did really well, 18th overall with a time of 22.14.  James Chant was pleased to just about keep his run of sub-24 rides on this course going with 23.52 (41st position) while Chris Mullett was 50th in 25.11.  Sarah Wheeler rode well to set her second best 10 mile time with a 26.43.  Don Tanner was the final finisher in 62nd with a 27.32.
