It was the final round of the club’s mountain bike series this morning, a series which Kim Little has headed throughout and he maintained his 100% win rate today.  Nigel Brown pushed Kim in the early stages but soon had to settle for second.

Liam Teesdale completed the first lap in third place but Chris Noble overhauled him on the second lap to take third.  Liam’s points for his fourth place finish was enough to just give him third overall in the series, one point ahead of Scawen Roberts, who was fifth in today’s race.
Brad Goggins came home sixth with James Chant seventh.  Andy Parsons had an issue with his bike’s saddle but still took eighth place even after a visit back to the car park to fix the problem.
One lap down on the winner were Brad Jones in ninth, with Charles Rees rounding out the top 10.  Ben Hywel-Davies was the first junior in 14th and won the juniors’ series.
A big thank you to Vince Hounsome for running the races this winter, also to Jim Broom for all his help and to anyone who has turned out to marshal and do timekeeping.
