This week there wasn’t a gale, it wasn’t raining, and we had the largest TT field since the post-Covid lockdown boom with 18 riders signing on for 10 miles on the Gillingham course.
After a week off in the sun, Shawn Gray (22:42) returned to winning ways, ahead of Sam Thompson (23:19). Returing from Uni, Will Wilson (23:55) was third and fastest on a road bike. Hector Rigby (24:28) came home next ahead of Nigel Brown (25:40, road bike). Jilly Wallace was fastest woman.
Innes retains the overall lead from Shawn. Michael Sleeman leads the road bike category, just ahead of Nigel Brown.
RNext week is the first 2-Up of the season, on the 21 mile Stour Provist course. So either arrange your ride partner beforehand, or turn up on the day and get paired up!. Sign on is at 6.30 pm (at Stour Provost Community School, Woodville, Gillingham SP8 5LX) with the first pair off at 7.00 pm.
