It looks like there may be overnight rain, but hopefully it will have cleared through before we start riding. The wind has finally turned too, so the routes all broadly head west this week.

The White Route makes its way to Charlton Musgrove and Redlynch before heading across to Sparkford. The route then winds its way back to Buckhorn Weston and Gillingham.

The Pink and Blue routes pass through Wincanton, and the edge of Castle Cary. The Pink route heads on to Baltonsborough and Butleigh on the way to Ilchester and Sherborne. North wootton and Purse Caundle are on the way home. The Blue route goes through Lydford-on-Fosse and Charlton Adam before rejoining the Pink route.

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.

The routes all finish at The Old Brewery Cafe in Gillingham where you can stop for coffee, cake or lunch.

There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
