After a dryer week and with a dry forecast the roads should hopefully be ok this Saturday (still mucky in places), however temps are low in and around 3-5˚ and may feel colder so please dress warmly! There is a moderate NE wind so we will head that way and catch it home.
All routes head out to Motcombe and Semley, here the whites and blues carry on to Tisbury, while the pinks take a diversion south to Berwick St John before rejoining the others again at Fovant. All routes then head to Dinton, where the whites turn back toward home via Hindon and East Knoyle.
The Blues and Pinks carry on over the top and down to Wylye, then along the valley with a stop to warm up at the Ginger Piggery cafe in Boyton. After which its through the Deverills and a hopefully wind assisted climb of Mere Down before returning to Gillingham.
Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshement.
There is nothing to stop a group splitting into a ‘light’ and a ‘dark’ group, and a slower group can take on a longer route or a faster group ride a shorter route. All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability!
