With the end of summer the weather has turned to heavy showers and blustery winds and Wednesday was no different for the final round of the 2025 Series on the 6.5 mile Milton on Stour course. Half a dozen riders made it to the start line.
Shawn Gray (15:01) was quickest once again, followed by Michael Sleeman (16:25, road bike) and Gary Francis (17:12). Jilly Wallace was fastest woman.
Shawn Gray retain his place as the Club Champion and 1st Vet (40-49). Josh Day is 1st Senior (under 40s), second overall and is also Road Bike Champion. As if he hasn’t won enough already this year, Innes Wright was 1st Senior Vet (50-59) and Vince Hounsome 1st Super Vet (60+). Jilly Wallace is our Women’s Champion. Trophies will be presented at the Annual Dinner on Saturday 6th December, so put the date in your diaries!
A massive thanks to those who ensure these events can be held – in particular Vince, Mark H, Mike S, Kyle L, John P, Pete H, Colin T and James L, plus all the others who have marshalled or helped with the time keeping.
