A grey and breezy, but dry evening was the backdrop for the first longer, and hillier TT of the season on the Bruton 19 mile course. A small field of 9 riders made it to the start.
Shawn Gray chose his road bike over his TT rig but was still fastest 46.48). Second to fifth were separated by just 24 seconds with Adam Baker second, Vince Hounsome third, Gary Francis fourth and Rich White fifth.
There were no lady riders this week.
Gary Francis leads the Championship ahead of Vince Hounsome and Mark Harvey, with Shawn closing in fast. Mark Harvey has a healthy lead in the non-aero category.
Next week sees a return to the Gillingham 10 mile course. Sign on again at 6.30 pm , with first rider off at 7.00 pm.
