It was a good night for the guest riders at tonight’s tt,  Charles Rees was fastest, finishing in 23.05, despite being one of several riders who got held up by traffic during the evening.  This was Charles’ fastest ever time on the Wyke course, as was the time for second-placed James Oliver (Wessex Wizards, 23.34) and returning French rider Yvon Momboisse (UC Aurillac, 24.55).
This was the final points-scoring round for the season, and it was Vince Hounsome who took the 50 points for posting the fastest GDW time, despite no less than four traffic-induced stops between the start and Peacemarsh roundabout and then a fifth at West Bourton for a tractor.  This result meant that Vince and Kim Little tied for second overall in the championship.  Andy Sawyer got round in a course best time, as did Mark Geddes, Chris Mullett, Jenny Lucas and Rosie Brown.  Katie Chown took part in her first ever tt and put in a good ride to finish with 37.55.
Emma Bradley was the quickest of the women riders in 28.33, her 50 points helping her grab second in the overall series behind Jane Pritchard while Josh Day was fastest junior (28.13) ahead of Rosie Brown and Maria Phillips.
