Following the tragic death of Mary Emerson-Reed earlier this year, cyclists from Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset are getting together for a ride out across the Wylye Valley in search of tea and cake.  This was one of Mary’s favourite rides and it seems appropriate for all on two wheels to come together in recognition of the great rides and many miles Mary spent with us on her bike.

All cyclists are welcome and everyone is encouraged to wear anything pink which was Mary’s ‘go to’ kit colour.  The ride will start from Barton Hill carpark, Shaftesbury at 9.30am.  Three routes with different distances (20 miles, 23 miles, 33 miles) to Ginny’s Café, Boyton will be available, the aim being for everyone to arrive between 11am-12noon.  After refreshments riders are free to make their own way/route home.

The ride is open to all and should you wish to take part it would be helpful if confirmation could be made by emailing tributetomaryer@gmail.com by 8th September (mainly to help the café with numbers).
