And so it continues. More heavy rain forecast overnight which will certainly not improve the flooding situation to the south of Gillingham where the Tarrant valley, Tollard Royal, Langton Long, Winterbourne valley and other roads remain under water. Given the weather forecast and situation on the roads, there is just one route this week, so those heading out, split into appropriate groups, and beware of hidden potholes if riding through any floods.

The route heads to Mere, Maiden Bradley, through the Deverills to Shearwater, then back to Gare Hill, Bruton, Hunters Lodge and back to Gillingham.

Meet at 9.30 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
