After the cold and still weather of the last couple of weeks, it looks like Saturday is going to be milder, but also breezier, with a westerly blowing in. There are three routes as usual. All routes initially head to Bruton via Druly Hill. The White Route heads to Castle Cary and the Cadbury’s where it rejoins the longer routes. The Blue Route turns south at Ditcheat and onto Sparkford, whilst the Pink Route makes the turn at Baltonsborough. The sting in the tail for everyone will be Hartmoor Hill, but then it’s all downhill to coffee & cake!

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials. Riders can then choose whether to finish at The Feed Station or Cafe Corsa, for coffee, cake and a catch up.

Pink Route: 86.6 kms, 786 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +

Blue Route: 73.9 km, 652 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph

White Route: 62.6 km,663 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph

All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!

For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
