Well officially we’re into autumn, though summer looks set to arrive next week!

Once again there are three routes this week. The Pink and Blue routes head south east, through Iwerne Minster and the Tarrant Valley, before heading up to Tarrant Rushton airfield and onto Witchampton, where the routes diverge and the race for seats at the cafe hots up. The Blues head to Wimborne St Giles and 6d Handley, and through the Rushmore estate (watch out for Innes’s stray golf balls!!) and back to Gillingham via Shaftesbury. The Pinks go to Horton and Cranborne, and back through the Donheads and Semley.

The White route head to Hindon and onto Dinton, returning via Tisbury, Semley and Motcombe.

Meet at 9.00 am at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials.

Pink Route: 95.8 kms, 1,015 m elevation – est speed 28 kmh / 17.5 mph +

Blue Route: 80.5 km, 810 m elevation – est speed 24 kmh / 15 mph

White Route: 58.9 km, 694 m elevation – est speed 20 kmh / 12 mph

All rides are no drop rides but please select a group suited to your ability! There is obviously nothing stopping a faster group doing a shorter route or a slower group doing a longer route if they wish!

If you have ridden more than a couple of times with us, we do expect you to become a member of the club.

For those who have issues downloading their routes, here’s the guide for a Garmin device and here’s the guide for a Wahoo device.
