This weather this Saturday looks to be dry & sunny with a gentle westerly breeze.
There are just 2 routes this week, a combined Blue/Pink route and a White route. Both routes head north out through Bourton to Kilmington before descending Druley hill to Bruton, the Blue/Pink route carries on to the A371 via Wyke Champflower and to Lydford.
From Wyke Champflower the Whites take a more direct route towards Lydford via Castle Cary. They they turn off for Sparkford via Lovington and the Barrows and return to Gillingham via South Cadbury, South Cheriton, Horsington and Buckhorn Weston.
The Blue/Pink route carries on to Somerton, before heading back via Ilchester, Mudford, Sandford Orcas and Stowell. It then joins the white route from Horsington back to Gillingham.
Cafe Stops – the Blue/pink route has several options in Somerton and the Whites could stop at either Sparkford motor museum or Teals
Its a 9.00 am start, meet at the Wheels car park, Station Road, Gillingham. Please ensure you download your chosen route to your GPS device, and remember to bring your ride essentials, particularly sufficient liquid refreshments.
