Amazingly, it appears Saturday won’t be freezing cold, or soaking wet for the first time in weeks! Although the roads are likely to be wet from overnight rain, the sun may put in an appearance, and no frost to worry about.
All routes initially head to Motcombe. The Blue and Pink routes then head up to Shaftesbury, up Zig Zag (articulated lorries permitting) and through Ashmore and over to Sutton Waldron. Yes, some lumps to warm everyone up! Both routes skirt around the bottom of bulbarrow heading towards Holwell, and back through Stourton Caundle and Stalbridge.
The White route heads from Motcombe past the showground and onto Guy’s Marsh and through the Orchards to Child Okeford, Okeford Fitzpaine and Hazelbury, returning via Kings Stag and Stalbridge.
