Saturday looks to be dry, but very cold. It’s time to burn off that turkey, clock up some Festive 500 kilometres, and head out on either the short, medium or full Vince ride. all three routes follow the same roads initially, with the short route turning back at Sturminster Marshall, the medium just before Wareham, or there is the full trip to Swanage.

Those doing the full route will need £1-00 for the Sandbanks ferry, this can be paid by cash or card.

The pace for the full ride is usually in the region of 15-17 mph, and head’s out on a fairly flat route via Child Okeford, Blandford, Wareham, Corfe, back via Wimborne, Cranborne, Sixpenny Handley, Shaftesbury – just under 90 miles. Please be ready to depart from Wheels at 9.00 am sharp, and bring lights in case the light fades. The last few years we have split into 2 different paced groups and met at the cafe. Last year we stopped at Rockets and Rascals cycling cafe
