By popular demand, we are launching a winter challenge for younger people.
The idea is to create an ongoing sporting challenge over the winter period. A bit of biking, running and even swimming that can be done with your family. The target is completion – the certificate follows in March.
They don’t have to be members, but it would be good if one of their parents (or grandparents, uncle, aunt etc ) are. If it encourages participation, please invite friends of your young ones to enter (as long as you certify their completion)

| 5-Jan – 18-Jan | Evading zombies on MyWhoosh (or 10 circuits of the bike park) |
| 19-Jan – 1-Feb | 100m continuous swim |
| 2-Feb – 15-Feb | Evading zombies on MyWhoosh (or 10 circuits of the bike park) |
| 16-Feb – 1-Mar | 2km run (maybe Junior parkrun @ Moors Valley?) |
| 2-Mar – 15-Mar | Evading zombies on MyWhoosh (or 10 circuits of the bike park) |
| 16-Mar – 29-Mar | Points for each of: |
| 100m timed swim, bike challenge of choice, 2km run |
Every fortnight (mostly – challenges 1 and 2 are exceptions) there is a challenge to complete.
· All competitors will get 5 points for completing any event
· It is up to the GDW member (parent, grandparent, etc) to certify that each challenge has been completed (by each child) by 9pm of the last day of that challenge. Please send to wright.innes@gmail.com.
