A hot and breezy evening saw 14 riders start round 7 on the 10 mile Gillingham course.
Shawn Gray set a new PB (22:12) and was quickest by almost 3 minutes. Michael Sleeman was next quickest (25:01, road bike) ahead of Gary Francis third (26:11). Innes Wright was fourth and leads the overall standings having competed in every round. Five riders were within 30 seconds of each other in the 31-32 minute mark. Jilly Wallace was fastest woman.
Round 8 3rd June) is scheduled for the 21 mile Stour Provost course. Sign on is at 6.30 pm (at Stour Provost Community School, Woodville, Gillingham SP8 5LX) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
