Another wild windy Wednesday saw 11 riders sign on for round 5 of the 2026 Series on the10 mile Sturminster Newton course. Unusually, most riders were in the aero category.
Sam Thompson (23:45) was fastest on the night, ahead of Innes Wright (26:39) and Chris Hill (27:24). Mark Jacobs (30:08) was fastest on a road bike and of Adam Wareham (31:42). Jilly Wallace was again the fastest woman.
Round 6 (20th May) is scheduled for the 6.5 mile Milton on Stour course. Sign on is at 6.30 pm (at the Bubl Shop, Mere Road, Gillingham) with the first rider off at 7.00 pm.
