It was another windy Wednesday, and emergency gas works resulted in a very late change of course from the 21 mile Stour Provost course to the 10 mile Sturminster course.
After his DNF last week, Hector Rigby (24:36) was fastest ahead of Julian Wilkes (24:52, road bike) and Vince Hounsome (26:32). Chris Mullett, switching from his TT bike to his road bike, was the only rider to go faster than last week on this course. Jilly Wallace again was fastest woman.
Next week we will try to run the 21 mile Stour Provost course but if the SGN roadworks overrun, there will be a switch to the Sturminster Newton course again.
