Another warm and dry evening for round 11 on the Stour Provost course. Channelling his inner Remco, Shawn Gray (21:51) set the fastest time, 6 seconds off a PB even though he claims to have had a loose bar. Sam Thompson (22:07) was second with Hector Rigby (22:55) third.
Michael Sleeman (24:23) was fourth and fastest on a road bike, ahead of Nigel Brown (25:02). Jilly Wallace was again fastest woman.
As an aside, Nigel Brown became Southern XC Champion (age group) last weekend and also won the British Series XC Championships. He heads to the National XC Championships on 19th July in great form!
Next week is scheduled for the 10 mile Gillingham course. Sign on at the Bubl Shop, Mere Road, at 6.30 pm, first rider off at 7.00 pm.
