You’ve got to run faster to run faster. Thursday Run Intervals (TRI, geddit?) will vary each week, but the focus will be on change of intensity – series of intervals ranging from 200m to 1 mile on different evenings (with appropriate, but variable, rest periods).
We will meet in the car park at Rivers Meet in Gillingham and, depending on the conditions, we will be doing laps of the field or a street circuit.
This is part of a series of Thursday running intervals at Rivers Meet aimed at multi-sport GDW members targeting races from Sprint to Full Distance. Even if you are not yet aiming at triathlon or similar, you will be very welcome. Many of the group will also “run off the bike” (gently) each Wednesday following the Time Trials.
