 Introduction

The Academy is now due to start its 5th year out of a 5 year plan to get the local community, schools and adults of all ages involved and out on their bikes, and to learn how to ride a bike and be active.
As of May 2013 we started the academy club with just 3 riders and 5 months later in Sept 2013 we had grown to 18 students 4 juniors and 14 Youths. We now are starting this year with 30 young riders.

We are now a British Cycling Registered Go Ride club, which is specifically aimed at introducing young riders to cycle sport.
